SYMPTOMS

When you print a Web page from Internet Explorer to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet 4M printer, the right side of the Web page may not be printed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if Internet Explorer is configured to print Web pages at a scale size of 100 percent.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, reduce the print scale to 85 percent before you print a Web page. To do so, click Page Setup on the File menu, type 85 in the Scale box, and then click OK.

MORE INFORMATION

Internet Explorer prints Web pages at a scale size of 100 percent by default. This results in 3/4 to 1 inch of the right side of the Web page not being printed when you print to an HP LaserJet 4M printer.
