Program Sharing Is Unavailable in NetMeeting (176114)

SYMPTOMS

When you start a NetMeeting call using speed dial and then attempt to share a program, the Share Application command on the Tools menu may be unavailable.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you try to share a program before all of the NetMeeting components have finished loading. The Application Sharing component parses the Fonts folder and may take longer to start if a large number of fonts are installed on the computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, click Hang Up on the Call menu, and then try the call again.
