SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install NetMeeting, you may receive the following error message:
The disk labeled 'Microsoft NetMeeting Files' is now required. This disk is provided by your computer manufacturer. Click OK to continue.

CAUSE

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Quit all running programs and close all open windows.
  2. Shut down Windows.
  3. Cold boot your computer (turn it off and back on).
  4. After Windows starts, try to install NetMeeting again.
