Cannot Share Programs In NetMeeting with Procomm Plus 32 (175956)

SYMPTOMS

The Share button on the toolbar in NetMeeting may be unavailable.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you install Procomm Plus 32.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, uninstall Procomm Plus 32. After removing the program, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Find, and click Files Or Folders.
  2. In the Named box, type the following line, and then click Find Now:

    rrctr*.dll

  3. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
  4. On the File menu, click Delete. If you are prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
  5. Click Start, point to Find, and click Files Or Folders.
  6. In the Named box, type the following line, and then click Find Now:

    rrsrvc.exe

  7. Click the file, and then click Delete on the File menu. If you are prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
  8. Restart your computer.
