Mutant Err Msg: Cannot Locate Ddraw.dll or Goose2.exe (175737)

SYMPTOMS

If you choose not to install DirectX during the installation of Goosebumps: Attack of the Mutant, you may receive one the following error messages when you attempt to run the program:
Error "cannot locate ddraw.dll"

-or-

Error "cannot locate goose2.exe"

CAUSE

DirectX is not installed on the computer.

RESOLUTION

Insert the Attack of the Mutant compact disc and click Install on the opening screen. When you are prompted to install DirectX, click Yes.
