Mutant: SHIFT Key Active in Windows When Using Compaq Keyboard (175730)

If you are using a Compaq Vocalist keyboard, when you press keyboard keys
rapidly during gameplay in Attack of the Mutant, the SHIFT key becomes
active when you return to Windows. This behavior may also occur if you use
the ALT+TAB key combination to return to Windows without exiting the game
first.
RESOLUTION
Press the left SHIFT key on your keyboard to return the keyboard functions
to normal.
