Works: Earlier Versions Not Detected by Works Setup (175241)

When you run Works Setup, earlier versions of Works that are installed on your computer may not be detected by the Setup program.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you have modified the default location of the
earlier version of Works, and if the name of the Works folder contains a
space or multiple spaces. For instance, if you install Works 4.0 to the
MS Works 4.0 folder, it is not detected by Works 4.5 or 4.5a Setup.
MORE INFORMATION
Works 4.5 or 4.5a will always find Works 3.0 because the Works 4.5 or
4.5a installation program checks the Win.ini file during setup to check
for earlier versions.
You can run the installation program for the earlier version of Works to
remove the earlier Works program's files. You can also choose to install
Works 4.5 or later to the same folder that contains the earlier version of
Works by manually editing the installation location during Works Setup.
