SYMPTOMS

When you position the Find dialog box over a form so that at least part of the form is obscured, and then you click Find on the Edit menu or press ALT+F to display the Find dialog box, a redraw problem may occur. If the form must scroll up or down to display the control containing the data that you are searching for, the controls on the form may not be redrawn properly.

RESOLUTION

Position the Find dialog box so that it doesn't cover the form.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access 7.0 and 97.
