PRJ98: Text Formatting Reflected in Multiple Fields (174759)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, if you format text in a field, other fields may reflect the same formatting. For example, if you change the color of text in the Percent Complete field, you will notice that the Start9 field also reflects the same color format.

WORKAROUND

If possible, do not use fields that are related to fields currently in use. For a list of fields that are related to other fields, see the "More Information" section later in this article.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
