PRJ98: Sheet View Not Refreshed After Saving Workspace File (174391)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you save a Microsoft Project Workspace file (*.mpw), the data in the cells that were hidden by the Save As dialog box may not be visible when the dialog box is closed.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the screen does not refresh properly when the active view is a sheet view and the dialog box is closed.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:

  • Minimize and then restore the Microsoft Project program window.
  • Use the vertical scroll bar to move up or down the Microsoft Project window.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
