PRJ98: Project Stops Responding Saving Baseline in PERT View (174370)

In Microsoft Project 98, if you save a baseline or interim plan while in
PERT view, you will receive the following error message:
Windows 95
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, you receive an error message similar to the
following:
WINPROJ caused an invalid page fault in module WINPROJ.EXE at 0137:302b54dc.
Windows NT
An application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated.
Winproj.exe
Exception access violation (oxc0000005), address: ox3000429ob
CAUSE
These errors occur if you save a baseline or interim plan while in PERT
view.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, switch to another view before you save the
baseline or interim plan.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft
Project listed above.
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service
Release 1 (SR-1).
