XWEB: Received Column Is Off-Screen by Default in Win16 Client (173911)

SYMPTOMS

If you are running a browser on Windows 3.x such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator to access a Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox using Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), the Received column in the message view will show only the letter R or a small portion of the column.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem:

  • Use the scroll bars to move the Received column into view or stretch the columns into the viewable area. -OR-

  • Change the position of the divider between the folder list and folder contents list.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server, version 5.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
