SYMPTOMS

If the brokerage statement on your retirement account does not show prices or quantities of shares, you cannot finish the Retirement Account Update Account wizard. If you leave the Number Of Shares field and the Price field blank for any investment, you receive the message:

You have left blank more than one of the Shares, Price, and Market Value fields. Money can calculate only one amount for you. Please enter all the amounts or leave only one blank.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, enter 1 as the Number Of Shares, and enter the total value of your holdings as the Price. Money then automatically calculates the correct market value.
