This article was previously published under Q172940 SUMMARY
In Microsoft Publisher 97, the Name attribute for the Anchor tag can be
used to jump to a new location within the same HyperText Markup Language
(HTML) page. Microsoft Publisher does not provide a way to add this type of
anchor to your publication before you export it in HTML format. If you need
to use the Name attribute, you can add this attribute after you export your
file from Publisher 97. This article describes the basic functionality of
the Name attribute and provides links to more detailed HTML resources.
