XL97: Comment Formatting May Be Lost When You Share a Workbook (171894)

In Microsoft Excel 97, when you open a workbook, some of the formatting
that is applied to a cell comment in the workbook is lost.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you share the workbook by clicking Share Workbook on
the Tools menu and selecting the check box in the Editing tab of the Share
Workbook dialog box.
If the workbook is shared and you save and close the workbook, certain
kinds of formatting that is applied to comments are not retained.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
