ACC97: Objects Dragged to New Toolbar Fail Silently (171176)

SYMPTOMS
When you drag an object to a new toolbar in an effort to create a command
button that will open or run the object, the command button is not created.
CAUSE
The command button will not be created if there are no other buttons on the
toolbar. The procedure fails silently.
RESOLUTION
To add a command button to a new toolbar, follow these steps:
- On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
- In the Customize dialog box, click the Commands tab.
- In the Categories list box, click the object type for your object.
In the Commands list box, scroll down until you see your object,
and then click the object to select it.
- Drag the object from the Commands list box to the new toolbar.
- Close the Customize dialog box.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
