XL97: Custom Toolbars Are Lost After Uninstalling Add-In (170648)

When you use the Microsoft Office Setup program to add or remove a
Microsoft Excel add-in, any custom toolbars that you created may be
deleted.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you use Office Setup to add or remove any
of the following add-ins:
- Analysis ToolPak
- AutoSave
- Conditional Sum Wizard
- File Conversion Wizard
- Lookup Wizard
- Report Manager
- Solver
- Template Wizard with Data Tracking
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in
Microsoft Office for Windows, Service Release 1.
