Select Area Tool Does Not Display a Dashed Border Line (170537)

When you click Select Area and then try to select an area, a dashed
Border line may not appear.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft NetMeeting
version 2.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATION
The Whiteboard includes a tool called Select Area. You can use the Select
Area tool to select a portion of your screen and place it on the
Whiteboard.
