The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Proxy Server 1.0

This article was previously published under Q170025

SYMPTOMS

Logging to a database may fail if both the Winsock Proxy and Web Proxy services are set to log to the same Microsoft Access database or Microsoft SQL Server table.

CAUSE

Both services are using the same DSN to write to the same database.

WORKAROUND

When you use an Access or SQL database, a separate database or table must be used for each proxy service. In addition, a separate DSN must be used for each proxy service.
