File Transfer Over Local Area Network Is Slow in Windows 95 (169961)

When you transfer a file to another conference member over a local area
network (LAN) from a Windows 95-based computer, the transfer may seem to
take a long time.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install the latest version of NetMeeting.
To work around this problem, copy the file from your local computer to
the remote computer without using NetMeeting. For information on how to
do this, contact your network administrator, or click Start, and then
click Help. Type "LAN computers" in the "Type the first few letters of
the word you are looking for" box, and then click Display.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft NetMeeting
version 2.0.
