The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft FrontPage 97 for Windows with Bonus Pack
This article was previously published under Q168816 SYMPTOMS
In FrontPage Editor, when you open a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) document
in which you have a table that uses the Align attribute, FrontPage Editor
removes the Align attribute from the Table tag. Any
text or graphics which were positioned based on the Align attribute
will now appear below the table.
CAUSE
FrontPage Editor does not support the Align attribute on the Table
tag.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, insert a column on the left or right side
of the table, depending on where you want to place the left- or right-
aligned text or graphics, and place your text or graphics in a new
cell. To insert a column in FrontPage Editor, click "Insert Rows or
Columns" on the Table menu.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft
FrontPage 98 for Windows.
