XL97: PivotTable Items Missing When Fields Are Pivoted (168252)

When you modify or pivot fields in a PivotTable, the totals may appear to
return incorrect values, and some items may not be displayed in the
PivotTable.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you do the following:
- You create a calculated item in the PivotTable.
-and-
- You modify the PivotTable design by moving a field from the Row category
to the Data category.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
