This article was previously published under Q166449 SYMPTOMS
If you click a PowerPoint section in a Microsoft Office Binder file and
then click the File menu, the following commands are not available:
- Pack and Go
- Save as HTML (Export to Internet in PowerPoint 7.0)
CAUSE
When you click a section in a Microsoft Office Binder, most of the menus
and toolbars change to those of the program that created the section.
However, the File menu does not change; it belongs to the Binder program.
Any command which is program-specific does not appear on the File menu in
this case.
RESOLUTION
To export your presentation as a series of Web pages, or to use the Pack
And Go Wizard, do the following:
- Click a PowerPoint section in your Office Binder.
- On the Section menu, click View Outside. This starts PowerPoint
and loads the section as though it were a stand-alone PowerPoint
presentation file.
- On the File menu, click the command you want to use.
STATUS
This feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a
