To add a comment to the active cell, click Comment on the Insert menu and type your text in the comment.

To Change the Font in a Comment

  1. On the Format menu, click Comment.
  2. Make the desired changes to style, size, or color and click OK.
  3. Enter the text for your comment, then click another cell to deselect the comment.

To Edit a Comment

  1. click the cell that contains the comment to select it.
  2. On the Insert menu, click Edit Comment.
  3. Select the text you want to change.
  4. On the Format menu, click Comment.
  5. Make the desired changes and click OK.
