Selecting Link in Subject Line Hangs Internet Mail (165888)

In Internet Explorer, if you select the Send A Link option from the Mail
icon, clicking the link that is automatically placed in the subject line
of the Internet Mail message may cause Internet Mail to stop responding
(hang).
CAUSE
The link placed in the subject line of the Internet Mail message is the
current page in Internet Explorer.
RESOLUTION
To add text to the subject line of the Internet Mail message, select an
area of the subject line that does not contain the link text.
STATUS
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
