SBFM97: Restore Wizard Values Does Not Recalculate Worksheet (164285)

SYMPTOMS

When you change values in the Lease Analysis of a What-If Scenario, and then click Restore Wizard Values, Microsoft Excel may not completely recalculate values in the worksheet.

CAUSE

The behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:

  • You click What-If Wizard on the Accounting menu and perform a Buy vs. Lease analysis. -and-

  • You change any of the following data options on the worksheet:

    Number of Months Asset Held
    Estimated Resale Value
    Opportunity Cost of Capital
    Depreciation Rate

    -and-

  • You click Restore Wizard Values.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, force the worksheet to fully recalculate values by pressing F9.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
