GW: Display or Printed Page Appears As Wrong Size or Cut Off (164067)

This article was previously published under Q164067

SYMPTOMS

You may find that your Greetings Workshop project does not appear to be the correct size during the creation sequence. It may appear truncated or cut off. This behavior will also be reflected in the printout.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if you have an incorrect paper size selected in the printer settings. The most common example is when the paper is set to envelope size before you start Greetings Workshop. The printout, in this case, will be the same size as an envelope but will appear to be cut off because the project was intended for an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, make sure that you select the standard 8.5 x 11 paper size for the default paper size. You should do this before you start Greetings Workshop.

To change the paper size, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, and then click Help.
  2. On the Index tab, in box 1, type "paper size, changing for printing" (without the quotation marks,) and then click Display.
  3. Follow the instructions under the "To change the paper size or layout for printing" topic.
