TMGR: Font Sizes Must Be Whole Numbers (162974)

SYMPTOMS

Team Manager will display "Size must be a number" when attempting to set a font size with a decimal portion.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft Team Manager 97 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

Team Manager will only allow integer numbers for font point sizes. Numbers with a fraction will not be accepted.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

  1. Click the Tasks tab in Team Manager.
  2. On the Format menu, click Sheet, and click Font.
  3. In the size box, type 8.5 and then click OK.
Team Manager will display an alert with the following message:
"Size must be a number"
