PI: Setup Error: Dao3032.dll Was Unable To Register (162957)

SYMPTOMS

When you run Picture It! setup on Windows NT you may get the following error at the end of Setup as the system files are updated.
Dao3032.dll was unable to register itself in the system registry.
followed by:
Microsoft Picture It! setup was not completed successfully.

WORKAROUND

Rename Dao3032.dll prior to running Setup and return it to its original name after a successful installation.

NOTE: The file is also available on the Picture It! Compact Disk in the \Shared folder. Picture It! normally installs this file to the \windows\system folder.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available

MORE INFORMATION

Picture It! Uses Data Access Objects (DAO) with the Kodak Order Form program. Microsoft Office also installs this Dll (Dao3032.dll.)
