This article was previously published under Q162924 SYMPTOMS
In the Microsoft products listed above, under Windows NT
Workstation version 3.51, when you draw an object with the drawing or
WordArt tools, and then move the object to a document that is created in
another program, the object may be printed incorrectly to a PostScript
printer. Specifically, fill colors or patterns are printed incompletely.
This symptom occurs when you paste the object, drag the object, or embed an
OLE object that contains the drawing object. This problem is more likely to
occur when you use complex shapes (such as WordArt shapes) than when you
use simple shapes (such as circles or rectangles.)
CAUSE
This behavior is caused by a problem in the PostScript printer driver for
Windows NT workstation 3.51.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Service Pack 5 for Windows NT Workstation
3.51. For more information about this problem, please see the following
