This information is intended for use by banks and solution providers who
are evaluating or implementing a home banking server solution using OFC and
Microsoft Money. For a fuller description of Open Financial Connectivity
(OFC) please see the OFC specification. The specification is available for
download on the Microsoft Web site by searching on the keyword OFC.
SUMMARY
The retail version of Money requires the server to support at least 64
bit strong encryption internationally and 128 bit in the U.S. and Canada.
However, you may test the connection to the OFC server without encryption
enabled using debug dlls that are supplied with the OFC Developer's
Toolkit. The Ofccert.doc document in the \CERT\DOCS directory contains
information on using the debug dlls for testing.
