This information is intended for use by banks and solution providers who
are evaluating or implementing a home banking server solution using OFC and
Microsoft Money. For a fuller description of Open Financial Connectivity
(OFC)please see the OFC specification. The specification is available for
download on the Microsoft Web site by searching on the keyword OFC.
OFC relies on standard internet protocols (HTTP as well as security
protocols; SSL and PCT) in use by Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3.0.
Therefore, a certificate for the OFC server may be obtained from any of the
issuing authorities currently supported by IE 3.0. The current list
includes Verisign, AT&T Certificate Services, AT&T Directory Services, and
internetMCI Mall.
