The Internet Mail and News Help file does not have a reference to the Switch User command on the Edit menu.

When you click Switch User on the Edit menu, the current connection and program is closed, and the following dialog box appears:

Select your name in the list. If you are a new user, click New.

You have the option to click New, OK, or Quit.

If you want to setup preferences for a new Internet Mail and News user, follow these steps:

  1. Click New on the dialog box.
  2. Type the name of the person in the User Name box, and then click OK.
  3. Specify the settings for that user in the Preferences dialog box, and then click OK to start Internet Mail and News using the user's preferences.
If multiple users are already setup to use Internet Mail and News on the same computer, click the user's name you want to use, and then click OK to start Internet Mail and News with the preferences for that user.

If you want to quit Internet Mail and News, click Quit.
