GW 1: Duplicate Fonts Listed After Installing Greetings Workshop (162016)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Greetings Workshop, you may notice duplicate font names in the Fonts folder when you view the Fonts folder from Windows Explorer or from Control Panel.

RESOLUTION

Any fonts installed prior to installing Greetings Workshop now appear twice in the Fonts folder. If you use an MS-DOS prompt to list the fonts in the Fonts folder, the font files appear only once per font type. The font names have been duplicated in the Registry only.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Greetings Workshop version 1.0 for Windows 95. This problem has been corrected in Microsoft Greetings Workshop version 1.0a for Windows 95.
