FP97: Setup Program Doesn't Recognize 10-Digit CD Key (161464)

The compact disc key from the sticker on your FrontPage jewelcase does
not work. That is, even when you type in the number from the sticker,
FrontPage 97 is not installed.
CAUSE
Some of the FrontPage compact discs were shipped with stickers that
contain incorrect keys. The incorrect keys effectively prevent you
from installing FrontPage 97. (FrontPage Setup requires an 11-digit
key: the incorrect keys are 10-digit numbers.)
WORKAROUND
If the sticker on your FrontPage 97 compact disc jewelcase has an
incorrect key, call the Microsoft Sales and Information Center at
(800) 426-9400. To obtain a valid key, you must provide the Microsoft
Sales and Information Center with the following information:
- the bar code number from the top of the box
- the purchase location (where you bought the product)
- the 10-digit compact disc key on the sticker (the key that is not
working)
