OFF97: Tooltips Don't Appear in All Dialog Boxes (160578)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office 97, ToolTips do not appear for documents that are listed in the New Office Document and Open Office Document dialog boxes.

CAUSE

ToolTips are disabled in these dialog boxes. This behavior is different from behavior in other Office 97 programs. For example, in the Office Binder, ToolTips appear for documents in the Add Section dialog box.

STATUS

This behavior is by design of Microsoft Office 97.
