TMGR: Scrolling Timescaled Views to Team Plan Beginning Date (160483)
The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q160483 SUMMARY
Microsoft Team Manager does not have a mechanism to quickly scroll to the
beginning of the team plan or to the beginning of a task within a plan.
MORE INFORMATION
For scrolling the timescale with the mouse, use the timescale horizontal
scrollbar and thumb button. For scrolling the timescale with the keyboard,
use ALT+PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN to scroll by one screen, and ALT+LEFT ARROW/RIGHT
ARROW to move in increments of one lower timescale unit.
If the timescale in a specific view is scrolled to a date on or after the
team plan start date, then the timescale will be positioned in the same
place when the team plan is closed and reopened, or when you switch to a
different view and then back to the original view.
If the timescale in a specific view is scrolled one or more lower timescale
units prior to the team plan start date, then when you close and reopen the
team file, or switch away and back to the original view, the timescale is
repositioned to two lower timescale units prior to the team plan start
date.
The position of the timescale in each timescaled view is independent of
other views, and is automatically saved. It is not necessary to save the
team file for a timescale position to be saved.
