Neverhood Err Msg: Cannot Locate Ddraw.dll (160464)

You may receive the following error message when you attempt to start The
Neverhood or the program demo:
Error "cannot locate ddraw.dll"
This error message can occur if you do not have DirectX installed on your
computer or if DirectX is not installed correctly.
CAUSE
The Neverhood installs DirectX version 3.0. If you had DirectX installed
on your computer before you installed The Neverhood or the program demo,
you may have an older version of DirectX.
Additionally, DirectX may be installed improperly, or not at all.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, make sure you have the latest version of DirectX
installed on your computer. You can obtain the latest version of DirectX
from the Microsoft DirectX Web site at the following Web address:
