TMGR: Making Web Pages Out of Team Manager Data (160262)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Team Manager

This article was previously published under Q160262

SUMMARY

Microsoft Team Manager does not have a mechanism for creating Internet Web pages from team plan data and views.

You can copy data from Microsoft Team Manager as text, but graphical information, such as the timescaled part of the Workload Planner view cannot be copied. You can also paste copied data into another program that has the ability to create Web pages.

MORE INFORMATION

When data is copied from a table in Microsoft Team Manager, a tab character is used to separate consecutive fields, and a carriage return followed by a line-feed character is used to separate consecutive rows.

If formatted text is copied from RTF (Rich Text Format) notes or reports in Microsoft Team Manager, the formatting (bold, italic, and so on) is copied too.

NOTE: In Microsoft Team Manager for Team Members, blocks of cells in the task list cannot be selected and copied, but selected text in notes, status reports, and individual cells (placed in edit mode by pressing F2) can be copied by pressing CTRL+C.
