SYMPTOMS

The Team Status viewer in Microsoft Team Manager for team members hides sensitive data from team members.

The Team Status viewer can be run by clicking the View Team Status button in Microsoft Team Manager for team members. Team members can use the Team Status viewer to view a team plan.

The Team Status viewer prevents a team member from seeing the following:

  • Any item on the Notebook tab. This includes status reports and so on.
  • Any item on the People tab. This includes all profile information, performance times, working times, notes, and so on.
  • Any cost information in a task view. All cost fields can be included in a table, but they display "###" instead of values.
The Team Status viewer does allow a team member to see the following:

  • Any view on the Vital Signs tab.
  • Any view on the Tasks tab. This includes people assigned, total work, and so on.
