XFOR: Attempt to Install without Verification of SQL Server (160108)

SYMPTOMS

The Internet Mail Server (IMS) does not detect whether or not a computer running SQL Server is available.

WORKAROUND

Before running Setup, verify SQL Server has been successfully installed for use by IMS somewhere within your domain.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
