XFOR: Changing Domain Name Is Not Reflected in Registry (160104)

When you attempt to reinstall Microsoft Commercial Internet System (CIS),
you are prompted for a domain name. However, the original domain name
remains in the registry.
WORKAROUND
It is recommended that you do not change the domain name during a
reinstall. To change the domain name, you should do a clean install.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial
Internet System version 1.0. We are researching this problem and
will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
