XFOR: Address Book Parameters Not Supported by Command Line Utility (160079)

SYMPTOMS

The Internet Mail Server command-line utility, INETCFG, does not support configuration of Address Book parameters such as adding, listing, removing, or editing SMTP/POP3 Address Book configurations. The Administrator User Interface does support this.

CAUSE

The command-line tools should support all the service-specific functionality of the respective Internet Service Manager (ISM) user interface DLL.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) version 1.0.
