OFF97: NIW Progress Indicator Appears in Upper-Left Corner (159525)

When you open a setup table file (stf) in the Network Installation Wizard
under Microsoft Windows NT 3.51, the progress status bar for opening the
.stf file may appear in the extreme upper-left corner of the screen.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs only when you run Setup for the Network Installation
Wizard on a computer running Microsoft Windows NT 3.51. The behavior does
not impair the functionality of the Network Installation Wizard or its
Setup program.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.

The Microsoft Office 97 Network Installation Wizard allows you to create
custom setup solutions for Microsoft Office 97. To use the Network
Installation Wizard, you must first perform an administrative installation
(Setup /a) of Microsoft Office 97 on a network server. Then, run the
Network Installation Wizard, select the setup options that you want, and
create a customized setup table file.
