Microsoft Exchange Configuration May Not Run During Setup (159003)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2 (OSR2) and restart the computer, the initial configuration for Microsoft Exchange (Windows Messaging) may not run.

RESOLUTION

Use one of the following methods to install Windows Messaging on your computer:
  • If the Inbox icon appears on the desktop, double-click it and follow the instructions in the Inbox Setup Wizard.
  • If the Inbox icon is not on the desktop, use the Add/Remove Programs tool to install Microsoft Exchange. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
    2. Click the Windows Setup Tab.
    3. Click the Microsoft Exchange check box to select it.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Follow the instructions in the Inbox Setup Wizard.
