Installing Visual J++ (VJ++) on a machine that has Visual C++ 4.0 or 4.1
installed upgrades the Developer Studio and certain C/C++ compiler
components. This is necessary to maintain compatibility between the
compiler, the debugger, and the new version of the Developer Studio. It is
recommended that you upgrade to Visual C++ 4.2, but not necessary.
