PPT97: OK Button Unavailable With Shading From Center (157406)

SYMPTOMS

When you apply the From Center shading style fill effect and select the left variant, the OK button is not available. The sample box is also empty.

This symptom occurs only if you haven't chosen any other shading style first.

WORKAROUND

Method 1: Click on the right variant and then click on the left variant.

The OK button becomes available.

Method 2: Double-click on the left variant to apply it.

You can apply a fill effect to an object using the following steps:
  1. Select the Object.
  2. On the Format menu, click AutoShape.
  3. Click the Colors and Lines tab.
  4. Click Fill Effects on the Color list.
If you immediately click the From Center radio button in the Shading Styles area, you can see the symptom.
