This article was previously published under Q157382 SYMPTOMS
If you drag an object out of one presentation into another, and then
click Undo Move Object on the Edit menu, the object disappears from the
destination presentation but does not reappear in the original one.
CAUSE
In PowerPoint, dragging an object from one presentation to another is
actually two different operations. One operation removes the object from
its original presentation, the other adds the object to the new
presentation.
When you click Undo Move Object on the Edit menu, you are undoing only the
second action.
RESOLUTION
Switch to the original presentation and click Undo Clear on the Edit menu.
STATUS
