PPT97: Graph Settings Tab Disabled When Multiple Graphs Selected (157206)

SYMPTOMS

If you select more than one graph object at the same time while in the Custom Animation dialog box, all of the choices on the Chart Effects tab will be unavailable (grayed out.)

CAUSE

This behavior is by design. Each chart type has different entries available in the Introduce chart elements drop-down list. The lists on this dialog box can't handle mixed selections.

RESOLUTION

Select each Graph object separately and apply the desired Chart Effects.
