In earlier versions of Microsoft Excel, you can set the parameters of the
OnRepeat method to Null and not receive an error message. If you set the
OnRepeat argument to Null, you reset the action that occurs when the user
selects the Repeat command on the Edit menu (or presses CTRL+Y).
The following macro runs successfully in Microsoft Excel versions 5.0 and
7.0 but fails in Microsoft Excel 97:
Sub Test()
MsgBox "Hello World!"
'Reset the Repeat command
Application.OnRepeat Text:=Null, Procedure:=Null
End Sub
To correct this problem so that the macro runs without error, set the
OnRepeat arguments to empty string values instead of Null:
Sub Test()
MsgBox "Hello World!"
'Reset the Repeat command
Application.OnRepeat Text:="", Procedure:=""
End Sub
